1. Pay attention to printing color

To get better color reproduction in kraft paper tape printing, it is more difficult than printing with SBS paper. Especially to accurately realize the color reproduction on the ordinary kraft paper tape board, it is more careful than printing on the bleached kraft paper tape board.

Since ordinary kraft paper tape itself is dark brown, the effect of printing ink is very different from the effect of printing on bleached paper.

Therefore, it is best to use brightly colored inks and use more eye-catching colors, so that the printing effect is better. Soft colors and light colors are the most difficult to achieve the desired effects of ink density, opacity, and abrasion resistance.

In addition, if necessary, a little white can be added to the ink first, which will help to achieve the desired soft tones or light colors, which is very useful for copying soft colors and light colors. With the increasing maturity of printing technology, some manufacturers even use UV inks to effectively improve the color effect of printing.

At present, almost all ink manufacturers have developed inks for primary color cardboard, and many ink manufacturers have also developed inks for printing on kraft paper tapes. 2. Reasonable selection of ink

Because kraft paper tape is different from SBS cardboard and general printing paper, it is uncoated, looser than bleached cardboard, has many pores on the surface, and has stronger permeability. This needs to be done in ink application and coating. Considering.

For example, according to the analysis of the paper characteristics of kraft paper tape, it is generally better to choose flexographic printing, and it is not suitable to use an offset printing machine for full-page kraft paper tape printing. Because the surface of the kraft paper tape is rough, the texture is soft, the ink absorption is strong, the color of the printed product is dull, and the ink will pull down the paper fiber in the printing.

3. Cardboard production and processing

Because the unglazed kraft paper tape is loose, porous, and bulky, it is prone to dust during the cardboard manufacturing process, so care must be taken to prevent and reduce the hazards caused by dust.

4. Post-press die-cutting processing

Due to the special structure of the original color kraft paper tape, its strong strength, and predictable fiber characteristics, it has better processing properties such as embossing, die-cutting, and die-engraving. But for the high strength and toughness of the primary color fiber, the kraft paper tape is required to pass through the deep indentation line to avoid rebound. In addition, the die cutter must be sharp.

Due to the high fiber strength of the kraft paper tape, a narrower indentation is required on the perforation line, and the nicks required for perforation should be less and smaller.

5. Gluing and bonding

High-solid, high-viscosity resin adhesive is suitable for low-temperature bonding. It needs to be cooled before it can be attached to the kraft paperboard. It cannot penetrate the paperboard in a large amount. The traditional hot melt adhesive is also suitable for kraft paper tape boards and polyester-glazed kraft paper tapes. The effect is better. Due to its lightweight, the kraft paper tape board is suitable for production on high-speed box gluing and folding machines.
